Strategery: Agile Transitions And The Enterprise TCOE [K01]
Keynote with Keith Klain, Tekmark Global Solutions (US)
For the last 20 years, the globally distributed companies have invested in large scale, heavily outsourced, Testing Centers of Excellence – the TCOE. The paradigm shift required to implement agile practices requires different skills, models, and tools which directly contradict the principles on which a TCOE is built: handoffs, distributed teams, and an asset heavy approach to managing software testing.
- Organizational models and their impact on approaches to testing
- Continuous deployment/integration in distributed teams
- Operational test management and agile practices
- Meaningful testing skills in an agile context
For the last 20 years Keith has built software quality management and testing teams for global financial services and IT consulting firms in the US, UK, and Asia Pacific. Keith designed the Software Testing Education Program with the Bronx based non-profit Per Scholas which has graduated 150+ students from diverse backgrounds into jobs in technology. He was the Executive Vice President of the Association for Software Testing and the recipient of the 2013 Software Test Professionals Luminary award.
Professional speaking engagements include client presentations, media / press interviews, and professional / vendor conferences.
